COVID-19 response for Semester One in 2021/22

To ensure the health and safety of all its stakeholders, the University will be starting the new academic year with teaching to be delivered through a mix of online and onsite elements for Semester One in 2021/22.  In line with this decision the Careers and Employability Service has decided to deliver all student engagement activities online in Semester One and will review Semester Two delivery in due course.

The Recruiter Engagement team is here to help you engage with our students through a breadth of online solutions across the academic year.

Please note to use any of our services you must meet our Terms of Service.

If you are an employer looking to create jobs placements for young people, apply for funding as part of the Government's Kickstart Scheme.

You can use the Kickstart Scheme to create new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

You must make sure the roles are eligible for the scheme.

Apply for a grant through the Kickstart Scheme

If you do not meet the criteria to start the scheme yourself, you can also find a Kickstart gateway to apply for a Kickstart Scheme grant on your behalf.
