COVID-19 response for 2021/22

To ensure the health and safety of all its stakeholders, the University is offering teaching to be delivered through a mix of online and onsite elements for Semester One and Semester Two in 2021/22.  In line with this decision the Careers and Employability Service has decided to deliver all student engagement activities online until further notice. We may still be able to advertise events on your own premises, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss this.

Raise your profile and engage directly with our students and graduates through our tailored webinar sessions (online).

This is a great opportunity to promote your organisation and employment opportunities by offering a 20-minute presentation, followed by Q&A during lunchtime between October and November in Semester One and February and March in Semester Two.

You can either use our online platform (Microsoft Teams) or your own to engage directly with students through chat or video and safely promote your opportunities.

We will promote your session as part of our series and target relevant student groups who will now be able to talk to you without the limitations of space and location.

Disclaimer: We seek to offer our students the most appropriate range of organisations for each event and so reserve the right to decline a booking request.

Please note to use any of our services you must meet our Terms of Service (pdf).

The service is provided to employers free of charge.

Although student engagement for the new academic year will not take place on campus, we offer a series of online activities that employers can deliver to help our students develop professionally and support them in completing successful applications.

Find out in what other ways you can engage with our students by completing this form and a member of the Recruiter Engagement team will be in touch.
