The application process

To complete the application process you must take the following steps which you'll be taken through on this page.

  1. Before you begin, please read the Quintin Hogg Trust's Grant Application Notes and the Development Team FAQs
  2. Download the QHT Grant application form here to complete your application offline
  3. Upload your completed application in the 'Completing your QHT Application Form' section on this page
  4. Upload your budget summary (only for bids over £25,000) in the 'Completing your QHT Application Form' section on this page
  5. Complete the project details section in the 'Project Summary' section on this page
  6. Submit your application

IMPORTANT: at this stage, your Project Sponsor does not need to sign your application (despite this being indicated on the application form). 

Completing your QHT Grant Application Form

Download the application form to work offline. This report should not exceed 4 pages in total. Once you've completed your application, you can upload it.
Please upload your completed application here as a Word file, not a PDF. This must not exceed 4 pages. Any submissions greater than 4 pages may not be read in full by the Trust. IMPORTANT: Please prefix your application document with the name of your project (E.g. Menswear Archive Grant Application Form.doc)
If your bid is over £25,000 please upload a budget summary/statement breaking down your proposed expenditure. Please prefix your budget summary with the name of your project (E.g. Menswear Archive budget summary.doc). IMPORTANT: Do not upload any additional documents here as these will not be considered by the Trust. If the Trust feels they need additional documentation, they will request these in due course.

Project summary

Please copy and paste into the fields below the information you've included in your application. This will help the Development team to collate a snapshot report of all projects and total planned expenditure across all project submissions.
Please now select the main objective to ensure your project is submitted to the most suitable UEB Sponsor
Please give a brief description of the project using 500 characters max
Please enter all financial amounts without comma separators (e.g. 20000 and not 20,000)

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT!

1) Please ensure that your completed application upload is in Word (not a PDF) and does not exceed 4 pages in length. Submissions of greater than 4 pages may not be read in full by the Trust.

2) If your project is over £25,000 pleasure ensure you've also uploaded your budget summary document.

3) Please rename your application and budget document  to start with the name of your project (e.g. Menswear Archive Application Form.doc and Menswear Archive Budget Summary.doc). NOT  'Budget Summary - Menswear Archive.doc)

N.B. Additional documents should not be uploaded as these will not be read by the Trust. If the Trust requires further information, they will request this in due course.
