Business Management Group Mentoring Programme 2024 - Mentor Registration

Group Mentoring is part of the Future Ready Mentoring at the University of Westminster, which has been introduced to support many more students with building their skillset and tackling the working world with confidence.

We are looking for a team of up to 30 mentors to support us with delivering Group Mentoring sessions to our undergraduate students on the BA Business Management and BA Business Management and Marketing programmes.

Business Management Group Mentoring Programme - Register your interest

We would like to invite you take part in the Group Mentoring Programme as a Mentor. As one of our selected Mentors, we believe you will be able to share your valuable experiences of working in the business, marketing, entrepreneurship, HRM or Economics industry, as well as the challenges you may have faced along the way and how you overcame them. By learning about your career journey, we hope these students will take on board your top tips and be inspired to pursue a fulfilling career.
If you do not remember your alumni number, please write down the year of your graduation.
Please provide any further information about your career journey that would be useful for Group Mentoring (such as specialised industry experience/ your main career area etc). This will be shared with our students/ academics as a short bio.

Group Mentoring Sessions - Your availability


Group Mentoring Sessions will take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays during the following weeks:

  • Group mentoring session 1 - W/c Monday 4 November
  • Group mentoring session 2 - W/c Monday 18 November
  • Group mentoring session 3 - Wednesday 4 December

In confirming your participation as a mentor, you will deliver three mentoring sessions to the same group of students, at the same time, on the same day of the week during timetabled teaching. The sessions will be delivered in person at our Marylebone campus (1 hour, plus up to 30 minutes prep).

Select your availability from the timings below - you can select more than one option. Please note that you will need to be available at the selected session times on ALL three of the dates as we might be unable to offer any mixing of dates and times.

Please ensure you are based in London or surrounding areas during the three Mentoring sessions

Mentor Training

As a mentor, you will be invited to Mentor training on week commended 28 October. This will be held online. The Mentor training session will be recorded so you can review it in your own time. Whether you prefer to attend live or view the recording, we do ask that you please complete the training to support you in delivering the three mentoring sessions.

We would appreciate it if you could share any email contacts / Linkedin profiles of friends or colleagues that you believe can be interested in mentoring Westminster students and recent graduates. Please note, we will get in touch directly with anyone you refer to us.
