Congratulations to all of our students, who are graduating this year! You have made it this far and we are really proud of you. Welcome to week 2 of the tailored careers support and resources we’ll be promoting across our entire social media space – we hope you find this useful.
This week we are looking at exploring career options and making career decisions. But before that, here is some exciting news – we have recently launched a newly designed Graduate Jobs and Events mini-site. The mini-site is dedicated to supporting all of our recent graduates with their ongoing journey. Start exploring today!
If you’re unsure of your preferred career choice yet, why not get started with the below:
💡 What can I do with my degree?
💡 Advertised roles (graduate schemes, internships, volunteering)
💡 Networking and speculative applications
💡 Events (internal and external)
💡 Freelancing, starting your own business and self-employment
If you feel ready to start making career decisions, we suggest you start with these three resources:
💡 Decision making and action planning
💡 1:1 guidance (resource dependent)
We will be posting more throughout the next three weeks until week commencing the 6th of July. In week 3 our focus will be on seeking and securing career opportunities; and we will finish this off with practical advice on things such as employment rights and wellbeing.
If you’re on Twitter, please follow the #WestminsterClassOf2020 trend for the latest career advice and news. And why not get connected with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. You can also get in touch with us by emailing careers@westminster.ac.uk or using the Ask a Question function on Engage.
Congratulations once again!
